Fortunately, all of the Sever missions can be repeated at any time if any Guardian misses a location, but unlike the bobbleheads, the Calus Automatons will always respawn and reactivate anytime they're approached in a repeated mission. While finding the location of each automaton isn't necessary for completing the mission, nor will it impede the actual mission, they are necessary for unlocking the Reaper title for Season of the Haunted, just like the Calus bobbleheads in Destiny 2 are required for the title as well. When the Guardian approaches them, they'll kick on for a brief time as Calus cryptically discusses what he has learned by embarrassing the Darkness, and what is to come in the future. The Calus Automatons are tethered to the mind of Calus himself, despite being broken beyond repair. ![]()
